Life Unscripted Photography is based in Troy, MI, however, serves the Greater Metro Detroit area on location.
Portrait Consultation (included in session fee)
Our time together begins with a portrait consultation to discuss your needs, the session, clothing options and studio policies. As a cutom photographer, my goal is to create the perfect artwork specifically catered to your home decor and photographic needs that you will cherish forever.
During your consultation, we will schedule your photography session. I will work with you to select a time that fits best with your family. Choosing a time that is after your children are well rested and fed is always best. Of course, Kids will get tired, hungry, and grumpy. I completely understand and will gladly take breaks as needed to ensure we make the most of our time together.
Session
Our session will last 1-2 hours on average. Some sessions may be shorter or longer depending on the individual circumstances. My goal is to take a variety of beautiful images for you to choose from. I will never rush you or your family. Because of the special needs of newborn babies, please plan on longer sessions lasting 2-3 hours.
Payment
Session fees are due 5 days in advance and are non refundable. Your session fee includes one location and up to 4 people. For multiple locations or additional people please contact me for a customized quote. For locations outside of 25 miles an adddtional fee of $25 applies. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify me within 24 hours and I will gladly reschedule.
Clothing Suggestions
As you are planning your attire, please consider keeping it simple. White, black, or solid colors will make your photographs classic and timeless. It is best to avoid stripes, busy patterns, or logos. Khaki, denim, and textured sweaters photograph nicely. Long pants and long sleeves are strongly recommended. I love photographing bare feet and tootsies, so shoes are optional! When planning clothing for a group or family, it is always best to coordinate outfits in the same tone or color. Newborns photograph beautifully in bare skin or diapers.
Images
Within 2 weeks of our session, a password will be provided to you to view your proofs (approximately 24 images) on line. Your on line proofing gallery will remain active for two weeks. Your print order is due within 2 weeks of receiving your password. Prints will generally be delivered within 2 weeks of your order date.
